Calgary 420 is working on a campaign to improve communities in Calgary and Alberta. Calgary Dover and Forest Lawn areas are the first targets of this Calgary 420 community improvement campaign. What we do: Calgary 420 volunteers will be painting over all graffiti tags on buildings and fences in the Dover and Forest Lawn areas. First we record the location and produce still pictures and video of the graffiti before it is painted over by Calgary 420 volunteers. Next we record again with still pictures and video painted buildings and fences. Lastly Calgary 420 volunteers monitor building and fences Calgary 420 volunteers have painted and repaint as quickly as possible when new graffiti appears. What this will do: When graffiti tags are painted over quickly it discourages people from continuing this behavior. How much money does this cost the victims of graffiti tags: Nothing. What can you do: If you see graffiti in the Dover or Forestlawn areas contact us. Donate paint and painting supplies. Donate time to paint and monitor building and fences. Donate products or services or provide discounts on products and services to Calgary 420 volunteers involved in this Community Improvement Campaign. Donate funds to purchase paint and supplies.
