I can only wish it was the usual nonsense coming from Calgary City Hall but sadly it is much worse then just that. Early this year (see February 2012) Calgary City Hall announced to the local media they are demanding Mayor Naheed Nenshi send a letter to Health Canada requesting this protected information. Same old blowing a political smoke screen in an effort to appear to be doing something to stop all the legal Health Canada MMAR gardens in the city of Calgary. This has been tried before in Abbotsford and Surrey, B.C. and it failed to provide the claimed end result they were seeking. The efforts only proved to be a complete waste of thousands of tax payer dollars. Why? Federal privacy laws is why.

Politician's have no interest in what is best for Canadian’s or even the laws of Canada, at least when it comes to sick and dying Calgarians and their medical needs. If they actually did care at all they would of never have bothered to try to gain political points with the improperly (lied to by government) educated public. All that was acompplished was to waste tax payer money and scare hundreds of Calgarians legally producing their own medication for their own needs. I use to get about a half a dozen calls each year from very stressed sick Calgarians with a very similar same story. They had contacted Calgary City Hall to request information on what the city of Calgary wanted from them in regards to their legal Health Canada MMAR garden to avoid any negative issues with the city and law enforcement. All offers to come and inspect their Health Canada MMAR garden were met with zero interest at all. What is worse still to this very day in time is I get even more calls from very stressed sick Calgarians now with the story Calgary City Hall is telling them they is no way at all they can have their legal Health Canada MMAR garden setup in the city of Calgary.

The most affective way we all can help to change this disgusting behaviour at Calgary City Hall is to phone or write the city alderman and Mayor Naheed Nenshi politely insisting they put a stop to out right lying to venerable, sick and dying Calgarians in regards to the Health Canada MMAR in the city of Calgary.

When the cities politicians are truly ready to reverse the very unacceptable behaviour of lying to venerable, sick and dying Calgarians they need to call Calgary 420 and properly discuss this situation in a responsible adult manner to help improve our communities in this city instead of actually increasing the harms to all Calgarians.

Even if you don't live in Calgary this seriously negative behavoir can affect your city or town anywhere in Canada in the future. Stand Up and Speak Up!
