There is reasons why you can walk down the street and enter a retail store and purchase illegal seeds, glassware such as bongs, pipes and any other products that you are going to use to consume illegal drugs like cannabis, crack, meth and so on. That reason was born and not only survives today but thrives mostly because of civil disobedience, advocacy and education by thousands of Canadians for many decades.
Dana Larsen was giving away free cannabis seeds. He was not selling them. His goal was to give away one million cannabis seeds. Dana has said openly he knows full well what he was doing is currently illegal and he could be charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking in Canada.
April 6, 2016 Dana Larsen, 44, of Vancouver, was arrested in Calgary and charged with one count of trafficking marijuana and one count of possession for the purpose of trafficking. He was later released from custody and is expected to appear in court on May 18.
